Easy-to-Transport Flatpack Design

Our stoves are thoughtfully engineered to be flatpacked, making transportation and storage efficient and cost-effective. The flatpack design allows us to ship more units at once, ensuring that we can reach more families quickly, even in remote or crisis-stricken areas. Assembly is simple and requires no special tools, meaning that families can set up their stoves in minutes and immediately start using them for warmth and cooking. This design not only reduces logistical costs but also makes it easier to distribute stoves exactly where they're needed most.

Efficiency That Makes A Difference

Our stoves are designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind. By reducing wood consumption, we’re helping to preserve local forests and reduce deforestation, which can be a major environmental concern in crisis areas. Each stove also emits significantly less smoke than many stoves currently being delivered in Ukraine, contributing to cleaner air and healthier living conditions for families who often have no choice but to use indoor fires.

Our wood-burning stoves are designed for versatile cooking, featuring a spacious surface that accommodates various pots and pans. The enclosed flame ensures safety and maximises heat efficiency, allowing meals to cook evenly and quickly. With user-friendly controls, families can easily adjust the flame for boiling or simmering. By providing reliable cooking solutions, our stoves foster togetherness, enabling families to share warm meals and strengthen community bonds during challenging times.

Heat for Humanity is our flagship humanitarian design initiative, born from the belief that good design can save lives. In response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, we developed a flat-pack wood-burning stove that can be shipped efficiently, assembled easily, and provide reliable heating for families left without power or functioning boilers.After 18 prototypes and rigorous testing, we successfully deployed the stoves during two humanitarian trips to Ukraine.
